There is something about a play drama, is not it? Just like a real life duel, seeing a well-organized match gives you a crowd of adrenaline like nothing else. Throw in a little patriotism in the mix and you make yourself a winner. Which tells why so many filmmakers want to tap into the likelihood of such stories. And hockey matches provide ample opportunity for good play. With team conflicts, internal politics and personal aspirations, it is no surprise that this game is more like cricket than Bollywood. Gold is the latest movie to tap this topic. The trailer managed to conspired us, but the film will strike gold with this story. Here's what we think ...

Tapan Das (Akshay Kumar) is one thing - passionate However, he is not a hockey player. He manages the British Indian hockey team and wants to play the team for an independent India. This film is fantastic in parts, especially when it is related to historical events. Patriotism is not better than scenes of great Indian freedom struggle. And the film wishes many things wisely. When you play for a different nation, you can understand the frustrations of the players. You feel pain when Indians are asked to choose between their country or a new one. The film manages to catch the delusion of that period, from which you are related to walking on a personal level. Apart from this, Gold is never included in Pakistan, which is a fresh change. They could easily have been caught by the attraction of bringing some good old rivalry and resultant dramas, but instead the neighboring country was kept in high esteem, which is considered as a victim of division in India. Akshay Kumar, Amit Sadhu, Kunal Kapoor and Sunny Leela provide a brilliant performance. Sunny Singh's romantic track with Nikita Dutta is probably the only distraction in the film, which we do not believe.

[Gold Movie]What is not

The film becomes very messy in movies, which happens when it becomes flat. It is a play drama but it wants to be a family entertainment too. So some hammers, jokes and silly songs have been thrown for good measure, taking away from the story! They seem like a completely different movie. You expect a serious film maker like Reema Kaji to explain at least such distortions, but unfortunately it does not happen. Talking about the story, it is similar to giving chuck! India, to compare you, you must be both blind and stupid. Went there, saw that! The points of plot borrow heavily from Shahrukh Khan-Abhineet. Despite being released 11 years ago, the film has an amazingly memorable value, which works against Gold. And you are almost concerned about the fact that unlike that movie, this person does not even have a good score to relieve himself. Except the title song, which can be heard a little bit in the movie, other songs seem to be compelling to everyone. Akshay has sympathy for firm belief in Bengali and trying to fail badly.

Gold Movie Related Our decision

If you are a patriot, Akshay Kumar's film will make you happy. But it would be difficult to shake the sense of Deja-V. However, it is an ideal Independence Day clock for the intense feeling of patriotism that exposes it. Get a family out of it
